is an educator, businessman, father and grandfather. Born in 1939 in Germany, Siegfried M. Kiegerl immigrated to the United States in 1959 and became a citizen in 1963. He received his education at the University of Illinois, Park College and the American Graduate School of International Management. Mike has a BA in Business and Economics, and a MBA in International Management.
He was the founder and CEO of PRM, Inc., a company consulting with state workers compensation agencies and private insurance carriers , planning to return injured workers to gainful employment. He also owns HealthCare CostControl, Inc., an independent medical bill auditing company and Professional Real Estate Management Company which manages properties in the greater Kansas City Area.
Mike is trustee and investment advisor for the PRM employee profit sharing plan and trust. Mr. Kiegerl has taught at the college level for several years such courses as Money Credit Banking, Business and Economics, Marketing, International Economics, Organizational Behavior, Business and most recently Macroeconomics. He has also taught at a Catholic high school for one year. He is personally committed to assuring the best possible education for all students in the district. He has also become a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and has been certified by the American Board of Vocational Experts.
In addition to his duties as representative for the 43rd District, S. Mike Kiegerl is also currently a member of the Commerce and Industry, Health and Human Services and Judiciary committees as well as the special commission on Medicaid reform.
